Montgomery County has plenty of places for fun concerts and entertainment, including the Music Center at Strathmore (pictured), Bethesda Blues and Jazz Club, and the BlackRock Center for the Arts.

Our area has plenty of beautiful outdoor areas, including some great places for a little bit of adventure. Try ziplining at Go Ape or the Adventure Park at Sandy Spring! The Agricultural History Farm Park is a scenic 455 acre park features rolling hills, open fields, an apple orchard, and a variety of farm animals. Visit the C&O Canal Visitors Tavern and see Great Falls (pictured).

SPORTS AND RECREATION

Montgomery County has some great options for sports and recreation. Head over to Shadowland for some heart racing excitement. Try ziplining at Go Ape or the Adventure Park at Sandy Spring. Or take a ride around using Capital Bikesshare

FAMILY FUN

There are lots of great places to visit in Washington, DC, and Montgomery County for families. The RIO Washingtonian Center has a beautiful lake with paddleboats and a walking trail. Downtown Silver Spring and Rockville have interactive splash fountains for kids (and adventurous adults!)

Check out the new Dave & Busters in Downtown Silver Spring located inside Ellsworth Place. Video game and arcade lovers will enjoy more than 165 games including Ghostbusters, Star Trek and Star Wars Battle Pod.
